Embora a própria publicação indique outra fonte, "The Cure’s Robert Smith names his Top 30 songs of the ‘80s", texto elaborado por Tonino Cagnucci em 18/06/14, o que importa é o conteúdo em si, no formato "faixa – álbum (ano de lançamento) – banda/artista", com tudo separado em blocos de dez e sem os links do YouTube desta vez. Só não repare na disposição um tanto confusa, em ordem alfabética dos grupos (descontando-se o artigo definido "the") e sobrenomes de quem está em carreira solo, pois foi este o padrão adotado:
